OuterElements can trace its roots back to 1958 when founder, Sherman Shepherd, began his first construction company. Three generations later, OuterElements is still family owned and operated as a group of companies involved in all aspects of construction.

OuterElements was formed to offer clients the outdoor spaces they’ve always dreamed of. We focus on the client experience from start to finish with our full service approach, including design, site prep, landscapes, hardscapes.

Jeremy Collis, ASLA

Registered Landscape Architect

Jeremy has been a Registered Landscape Architect in the state of Georgia since 2011. He graduated Summa Cum Laude from the University of Georgia with a Bachelor of Landscape Architecture, and has been actively involved in the landscape design/build industry for over 20 years. He was born and raised in Blue Ridge, Georgia where he is now raising a family of his own.

Fred Gould, RLA

Registered Landscape Architect

Fred is a Registered Landscape Architect in the state of Georgia. In 2008, he graduated Magna Cum Laude from the University of Georgia with a BA in Landscape Architecture. Fred has been a Certified Landscape Professional since 2011. With over 20 years of experience in the landscape industry, his projects range from nursery and retail sales to design and project management. A native of Chatsworth, Georgia, Fred now resides in Ringgold with his wife, Kristen and their daughter, Mary.
